Simon Whitlock will secure his berth to the Ladbrokes.com PDC Darts World Championships when the Mildura Workingmans Club hosts the final round of the DPA Australian Grand Prix next weekend.

Whitlock will lead the charge of QLD players headed to Mildura whilst a host of Victorian,NSW,South Australian and Broken Hill players will also head to the event.

This will be Whitlocks Final hitout in Australia before he heads to England in around 8 weeks time where he will compete in the Prestigious Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton ,He will then head to Halle Germany early December for the German Darts Open.The Ladbrokes.com PDC world Championship will begin at Alexandra Palace Woodgreen on the 18th of December.

Whitlock Will be joined in the UK by NZ singles champion Phil Hazel and the Winner of the the Oceanic Masters to be held in Auckland October 25.

The Mildura Event will consist of 2 x $3000 prize pools Beginning 9am Saturday 5th Sept with first prize consisting of 2 x $1000 first prize purses.
