PDC China Qualifier confirmed for World Championship

The PDC China Qualifier for the 2020/21 William Hill World Darts Championship will take place on Saturday October 17 in Zhoushan.

The 48-player qualifier will see one player progress to compete in the World Championship later this year, and will be a 48-player knockout.

The top 32 players from the China Tour Order of Merit following Event Four on October 8 will qualify, with a series of home-streamed events being staged at present in China.

A further 16 players who have not competed in the China Tour previously will qualify from a JDC Virtual Challenge.

The 16 qualifiers will take on the players 17-32 in the China Tour Order of Merit in the first round, before the winners join the top 16 in the second round.

Entry fee to the PDC China Qualifier will be CNY200 for China Tour players and CNY300 for players who have not competed on the China Tour.

Games up to, and including, the last 16 will be the best of seven legs, with the quarter-finals and semi-finals being the best of nine legs and the final the best of 11 legs.

Meanwhile, Xicheng Han and Di Zhuang will represent China in the BetVictor World Cup of Darts in November. Xiaochen Zong had won through the qualifier recently but has withdrawn for health reasons, and been replaced by Zhuang.
