History Created with the formation of The Winmau Darts DPA Oceanic Masters and 2021 Winmau Satellite Finals
For the first time in History the event will be played virtually; in Venue games will be played head-to-head whilst if a player is drawn against a player in a different state or New Zealand these games will be played across the Dartconnect / Messenger Zoom platforms
Selected games of these events will be live streamed on PDC TV courtesy of Dartstream Live with all games played under the Rules and Regulations of the DRA
5 Venues Across Australia and New Zealand will host the DPA Oceanic Masters to be held on Saturday October 30 with 4 Venues to play host to the DPA Winmau Satellite Finals on Sunday October 31; Dartplayers New Zealand will be hosting their own Ally Pally play off event with the top 16 DPNZ players going head to head.
Perth’s Port Kennedy Tavern will host the weekend’s events in the West whilst NDDA once again plays host in South Australia.
The Home of Darts in Australia, Warilla Bowls and Recreation Club, will host in NSW, with eligible ACT players also utilising this venue.
Queensland will see us using a brand-new venue at the Moda Events function Centre in Hamilton.
Over in New Zealand the South Timaru Cosmopolitan club plays host to the Oceanic Masters
Unfortunately, Victorian Government Covid-19 rules and regulations won’t allow us to have a venue in time for this event and we thank the Italian Australian Club in Morwell for their support throughout 2021; however, should anything change between now and Sunday 24th October and players are able to freely travel to a venue that will allow patrons in to play we will accommodate this for all eligible Victorian players. Entry to qualified Victorian players is open and welcomed and refunds can be made available should travel restrict participation.
At time of publication ACT residents are also subject to stay at home travel Rules however entry to Qualified ACT players will need to be assessed on October 23 with Warilla Bowls and Recreation Club with entry to the venue at Club Managements discretion, refunds can be made available should travel restrict participation.
Eligible players to both events are able to compete in any venues they wish to attend including Victorian and ACT players if Government rules and regulations Permit Travel and Venue Entry in other States
Please note at time of publication some venues may have double Jab Covid 19 vaccination policies to enter, many venues may also require you to be wearing a facemask unless eating or drinking. We ask all players to check entry requirements with their respective venues directly. QLD players at time of publication (October 9) there is no mandate set for 2 vaccinations, but we advise all players in all locations to be aware of current rules and regulations of their state in Australia or in New Zealand
Players intending to travel to the United Kingdom will need to adhere to a strict double dose vaccination policy.
