The PDC World Series of Darts will feature six international tournaments during 2022 ahead of the Jack’s World Series of Darts Finals, following confirmation of this year’s schedule.
Following disruption in 2020 and 2021, the World Series of Darts returns with tournaments across the globe in 2022 as top PDC stars face off against leading local stars.
This year’s World Series will begin in spectacular fashion as the PDC visits New York for the first time for the eagerly-awaited Bet365 US Darts Masters.
The two-day event, on June 3-4, will also feature the North American Championship as the Hulu Theater at MSG finally gets to host the World Series of Darts.
June will also see the World Series return to Copenhagen on June 10-11 for the Nordic Darts Masters, which was won by Michael van Gerwen as he defeated Fallon Sherrock in last year’s inaugural final, with a third event set to be held on June 24-25.
August will see the world’s top stars compete Down Under for the first time in three years, with a treble-header beginning with visits to Townsville for the PalmerBet Queensland Darts Masters on August 12-13 and Wollongong for the PalmerBet NSW Darts Masters on August 19-20.
The following week will see Hamilton play host to the NZ Darts Masters on August 26-27, as the sport’s top names return to the Globox Arena.
Following the six global events, Amsterdam will host the Jack’s World Series of Darts Finals from September 16-18, as the 24-player tournament is held at AFAS Live.
Player selections will follow in due course, with each international event featuring eight PDC stars taking on eight regional representatives in the first round.
