The quest for a position on the World Series of Darts stage at Wollongong happens again this weekend in Victoria.

The Geelong Greyhound club hosts events 4 to 6 of the Dartplayers Australia season.
The overall winner from the weekend qualifies for the World series of darts.,
Brenton Lloyd opened the season at Warilla Bowls and Recreation Club with victory. This gave him the opportunity to return to the Wollongong stage after having impressed in 2023 at the same arena.
The first set of DPA events brought a large amount of players back to the oche and the interest continues to grow. Many players will be looking to make the World Series Stage for the first time. Others will be looking to return to the PDC stage.
The weekend not only has the World Series Qualifier. The best player across the three events will take out a trophy named after the only man to have contested every single Australian World Series of Darts events. The Simon Whitlock Trophy will have a new name on it. 2023 saw now retired Darren Penhall put his name on the trophy as the first winner.
